You will help businesses establish and maintain appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities, maintaining compliance with tax regulations and minimising the risk of disputes.
Job description
As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this level include but are not limited to:
Assist in developing solutions to complex transfer pricing issues for multinational corporations, particularly within the financial services sector
Prepare and review transfer pricing advice and documentation in compliance with local and OECD guidelines
Conduct benchmark and economic analyses to support various types of transfer pricing policies (e.g., financial transactions, IP, services, etc.)
Assist in cross-border engagements and collaborate with PwC transfer pricing specialists across the Asia Pacific and global network
Assist in coordinating day-to-day project execution and escalating technical or project management issues to managers where appropriate
Assist in preparing proposals, credentials and client-facing materials for business development activities
Draft customised TP advice, TP enquiry responses, TP documentation, including value chain analyses
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA, CTA or equivalent) is preferred
2-5 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong ethical standards and commitment to upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Fluent in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred
