Our Assurance group is one of the most trusted, respected and influential organizations in the industry. The opportunity
Are you currently part of our EY Assurance team and looking to expand your career across borders? Join our dynamic External Audit team in Hong Kong and support clients across a broad spectrum of industries by delivering high-quality audit services.
This opportunity offers you the chance to experience life in one of Asia’s most vibrant financial centres, with access to diverse, complex engagements and exposure to regional clients, especially those with cross-border operations in Mainland China.
You’ll continue to grow professionally through structured learning, on-the-job coaching, and strong support from experienced local leaders. This role is ideal for EY professionals interested in broadening their global audit experience and developing within the APAC network.
Your key responsibilities
Deliver assurance services to a portfolio of corporate clients in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area
Participate in audit planning, risk assessment and fieldwork activities
Collaborate with global engagement teams and cross-border colleagues
Prepare audit documentation and financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards
Build professional relationships with client personnel and internal stakeholders
Contribute to coaching and supervision of junior team members
Support people initiatives, including recruitment, learning, and team engagement activities
Requirements: Skills and attributes for success
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese preferred
Excellent project and time management abilities
High level of integrity and teamwork within a professional environment
Adaptability to new cultures and working environments
What we look for
An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major, as well as CPA certification
Approximately 3-5 years of experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm, or particular business/industry experience to meet special needs
Strong performance track record within EY
