About the role
We are looking for a commercially minded and execution-focused account manager to manage strategic sellers and brands within our Hong Kong Cross Border business.
The role combines key account management, business planning and cross-functional problem-solving across Southeast Asian markets. Appointment level will depend on experience and readiness to independently manage priority accounts.
Key responsibilities
Own a portfolio of strategic sellers and brands as the primary commercial contact.
Develop account plans covering sales growth, assortment, campaigns, market expansion and profitability.
Monitor GMV, orders, account economics and operational performance; identify risks and recommend actions.
Lead regular business reviews, commercial discussions and contract-renewal preparation.
Coordinate with operations, logistics, payment, listing, compliance and local-market teams to resolve seller issues.
Support the qualification, onboarding and launch of selected brands and strategic sellers.
Maintain clear account records, stakeholder maps, commitments, issue trackers and action plans.
Escalate critical account, operational and relationship risks to management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, operations or a related discipline.
Approximately 3–6 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace, key account management, business development or commercial operations.
Proven ability to manage important external partners or commercial accounts.
Strong analytical, negotiation, project-management and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
Fluent spoken Cantonese is mandatory.
Strong written and spoken English is required; Mandarin is preferred.
Preferred experience
Cross-border e-commerce or marketplace experience.
Experience managing brands, distributors or high-value strategic accounts.
Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets, cross-border logistics or marketplace compliance.
Experience in collectibles, consumer electronics, beauty, fashion or other IP-sensitive categories.
Japanese language ability or experience working with Japanese companies is an advantage.
