Assistant Building Services Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Direct preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and A&A works for building fabrics, plumbing, drainage, and MEP systems.

· Lead feasibility studies, tendering, quotation preparation, budgeting, and cost control for maintenance plans.

· Execute fault investigations, supervise minor projects, compile maintenance reports, and coordinate 24/7 emergency call-out responses.

· Supervise in-house technical staff and manage vendor performance in accordance with agreed SLAs and KPIs.

· Serve as the main liaison for internal end-users and attend emergency call-out services as required.

Requirements

· Higher Diploma / Degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.

· 3+ years of in operation & maintenance experience in facilities management or property management.

· Proven ability to independently troubleshoot MEP systems, manage A&A works, and ensure compliance with local ordinances, COPs, and standards.

· Grade A (or above) Registered Electrical Worker (REW) certificate is a distinct advantage.

· Proficient written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong capability in drafting clear incident reports.

· Skilled in AutoCAD and MS Office.

· Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer-oriented mindset.

· Fresh Graduates are also welcome. Candidate with less experience will be considered as (Assistant) Project Officer.
