工作内容
Role purpose
• To identify opportunities, in the formulation area in China for relevant Active Ingredients, assess and develop them to suit business requirements of finished formulation across the world
• To work closely with Syngenta supply chain, technical, regulatory, production and sourcing teams, understand the requirements and enable the opportunities in China market.
• To coordinate the qualification chain for products starting from idea creation, cost estimation, documentation, sample, lab trials and change process documentation.
• Procurement management of other assigned portfolio and support global team managed products related activities as needed
• Ensure compliance with Syngenta procurement policies, processes, CoC and other regulations.
Accountabilities
• Manage formulation sourcing, work closely with internal stakeholders (SCM, global procurement, production, technology and engineering, planning, etc) and suppliers to achieve annual goal.
• Work closely with Global supply chain team, identify and develop local formulation suppliers for Global Formulation Sourcing in China.
• Make the negotiation strategy and do the negotiation to get the competitive price.
• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
• Ensure the end-to-end process for formulation sourcing is understood and being executed in support of the new cross-functional ways of working.
• To help with continuous improvement of sourcing process for finished goods
• To leverage the FFP networking to maximize performance, to ensure efficiency, and to be aligned with the broader P&S function.
• Use of global/regional procurement tools, e.g., Sourcing Handbook, Risk Management, Clarity Board, Nois, ONIT and Sievo…etc.
• Support required actions from all internal and external audits/compliance review, eg. Syngenta HSE audit, Eco Vadis assessment and TFS audit.

Critical knowledge
• Bachelor Master level of Chemistry / Chemical engineering / or equivalent experience demonstrating strong technical understanding relevant to formulation and supplier qualification activities.
• Supplier development including supporting capability improvement plans and follow‑up actions.
• Leadership of complex projects.
• Strong analytical skills
• A strong interest and aptitude for interpretation of industry development and market analysis
• Business Ethics
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
Critical experience
• Chemical degree is preferred
• Chemical industry experience is preferred, agrochemical industry experience is plus
• Demonstrable sourcing experience in sourcing and/or supplier qualification activities, such as supplier assessment, qualification coordination, supplier performance follow‑up, and cross‑functional execution in a regulated environment.
• Experience interfacing with technical/quality/production stakeholders (internally or externally) during qualification and change processes is a plus.

• Working knowledge of formulation, active ingredients, co‑formulants and considerations sufficient to support supplier technical discussion and qualification processes.
