Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The Regional General Counsel & Compliance Officer – China serves as the senior legal and compliance executive for China and is a key member of the executive leadership team.

Legal Leadership

Serve as the lead legal advisor to the China leadership team.

Provide legal support for commercial operations, contracts, corporate governance, and strategic projects, including M&A and restructuring.

Manage enterprise legal risks and develop practical legal solutions that support business growth.

Compliance & Ethics Leadership

Act as China Chief Compliance Officer and lead the compliance and ethics program.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

Oversee investigations, whistleblower processes, compliance training, and ethics culture initiatives.

Litigation & Risk Management

Lead all litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters in China.

Manage external counsel and legal budgets.

Partner with business leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate legal and operational risks.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Automotive, mobility, industrial manufacturing, or Tier 1 supplier experience.

Experience supporting corporate separations, carve-outs, spin-offs, divestitures, or stand-alone company launches.

Experience serving as General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, or Chief Compliance Officer.

Fluency in English.
