Job description and responsibilities
A career within Actuarial Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute insurance advice and consulting services to clients such as insurers, banks, regulators, and third-party administrators. You’ll provide advice covering solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and risk control, financial modelling, underwriting, new legislation, and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes.
The successful candidate will be working on projects in Mainland China/Hong Kong in the areas of:
IFRS17 implementation and financial transformation post-implementation, including KPI design and management information, financial budget and forecast, model modernization, data enhancement
Risk management and management transformation work, including asset liability management, capital management, expense management, product and channel management
Strategy and management consulting for insurance company
Other traditional actuarial work, such as reviews and analysis, valuation, modelling, actuarial due diligence etc.
Actuarial audit support
Reporting structure and key relationships
Reporting to: Actuarial Manager/Senior Manager
Requirements
We are looking for graduates from Actuarial studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, Physics, or majors with strong mathematics background who can demonstrate:
Good communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese will be preferred
Strong analytical skills with good commercial sense
Good problem solver and quick learner
Bright team player, who works effectively under pressure
Studying an internationally recognized actuarial qualification
Keen on personal and professional development; Be able to work with a variety of people
