The Experience
As an associate of Management Consulting, you will work in multi-disciplinary engagement teams of Strategy and Operations, Finance Transformation, Workforce Transformation, Business Operations Transformation, etc., to support on delivering complex solutions to our clients. The client base includes multi-nationals, state-owned and private enterprises in various industries. You will be challenged in every project to develop your analytical skills and critical thinking to develop strategic initiatives for your clients and strengthen your communication and presentation skills to interact with senior executives. Even as an Associate you will have the opportunity to work on complex business problems and make a difference!
Your day-to-day experience may include:
Participate in client meetings and discussions to understand and assess the current state of their business, operating models and key challenges;
Conduct industry, competitor, regulatory landscape analyses to identify growth and market-entry opportunities;
Scan and syntheses trends in emerging technologies (e.g. AI, blockchain, digital assets) and evaluate their strategic implications to build value-driven business use cases and go-to market strategies;
Diagnose operational inefficiencies and define process improvements, automation opportunities across end-to-end processes (finance, operations, client servicing), and design target operating models
Collaborate with business, technology, risk and compliance teams to align operating model changes, technology adoption and people strategy;
Support clients in project management activities, by planning timelines, tracking status, creating status dashboards, developing communication cadence, hosting discussion meetings, managing stakeholders etc.; delivering both technical capabilities and project management activities;
Support the delivery of business transformation projects across finance, operations, and human resources, working alongside experienced consultants to help clients solve complex business challenges. Contribute to the design of target operating models, organisational structures, governance frameworks, and workforce strategies; engage with client stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements; and support the implementation of technology, process, and transformation initiatives that drive organisational performance and change.
Requirements
We are looking for a diverse range of graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from all disciplines (with a preference of Business Administration, Information Systems, Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, Human Resources, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Accounting), who can demonstrate a combination of:
Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving capabilities
Knowledge in data analytics (e.g. VBA, Python, Alteryx), data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau and Power BI) and automation and workflow tools (e.g. OutSystems and Blue Prism) appreciated
Business acumen, knowledge of analytics and quantitative techniques
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Excellent team player and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative and diverse work environment
Self-motivation and direction, influencing skills / leadership potential
Proficiency in MS Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Access
Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus
