About Tax- International Tax
As an International Tax Associate, you will join a highly specialized team advising multinational corporations, private equity firms, and emerging enterprises on the tax implications of cross-border investments, transactions, and global operations. You will gain exposure to complex international tax structuring, global compliance frameworks, and cutting-edge developments such as the OECD's Pillar Two global minimum tax regime.

Job description and responsibilities
Assist in providing tax and commercial consulting for cross-border investments and transactions, including structuring design and implementation. Support the development and execution of tax-efficient holding company, financing, and IP structures across multiple jurisdictions. Assist with international tax compliance coordination, controversy management, and risk mitigation strategies. Participate in Pillar Two (GloBE Rules) consulting and compliance projects, including effective tax rate calculations, data gathering, and policy analysis. Contribute to tax due diligence, structuring advice, and post-deal integration for M&A, joint ventures, and restructurings. Track developments in international tax law, OECD guidance, and local country implementations.
Reporting Structure
Reports to: International Tax Manager / Senior Manager
Works closely with Global Structuring and Transfer Pricing teams; local country tax specialists across the PwC network; and Legal, M&A, and Consulting practices.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (Master of Tax) preferred. Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese; additional languages (e.g., German, Spanish, Japanese, etc) a plus. Understanding of international tax principles, double tax treaties, and cross-border structuring concepts; familiarity with BEPS 2.0 / Pillar Two highly desirable. Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities; proficiency in Excel and data manipulation. Intellectual curiosity, resilience under pressure, and a collaborative mindset; commitment to professional excellence and integrity. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
