A career in our Personal Tax Consulting and Compliance practices, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever-changing tax specialties. Our team delivers customized solutions to meet the tax compliance needs of trusts, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other business entities, thereby strengthening tax departments and reducing the burden on clients' resources. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, including the preparation and review of income and franchise tax returns and the handling of inquiries from federal, state, and local tax authorities on behalf of our clients.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and above

Develop and implement effective tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, and trust clients to optimize their tax positions

Prepare and review complex individual, trust, and estate tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations

Offer personalized advice on various tax matters, including asset protection, family and business succession planning, and investment strategies

Conduct thorough tax research to stay informed on changes in tax laws and regulations that impact clients

Be actively involved in business development activities to market the private brand both internally and externally; be involved in developing a playbook of services for HNWIs in Asia

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Accounting or a related field

Flexibility and open-mindedness

Ability to think creatively and a thirst for knowledge

Confident with a strong business sense

Excellent communication skills with business fluency levels, both spoken and written, in English and Chinese (including Mandarin)

Ability of tackling difficulties and making decisions

A person of integrity and with a spirit of teamwork
