Position OverviewThis role is at the heart of workshop operations and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth production execution, process stability, and continuous improvement.The Production Supervisor is responsible for:
Safe and efficient production execution
Meeting daily production targets and schedules
Maintaining product quality standards
Improving production efficiency and reducing operational costs
Managing and developing production teams
This position requires close coordination with planning, warehouse, technical, and quality teams to ensure smooth and stable operations.
Main Responsibilities1. Production planning & execution
Execute daily production plans based on work orders
Allocate manpower, equipment, materials, and working conditions (4M1E)
Coordinate with planning and warehouse teams to ensure material availability
Monitor production progress and handle operational abnormalities
Prepare daily production reports and performance tracking
2. Safety & quality management
Enforce safety rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Conduct regular safety inspections and identify risks
Monitor key process parameters (e.g., formulation ratios, reaction temperature)
Ensure product quality compliance and reduce defect rates
Report and manage production abnormalities
3. Cost control & efficiency improvement
Analyze production data (yield, energy consumption, labor efficiency)
Identify waste and inefficiencies in production processes
Propose and implement improvement actions
Optimize workflows such as feeding processes and equipment utilization
Contribute to cost reduction and operational efficiency targets
4. Team management & development
Supervise and manage production operators and shift teams
Conduct onboarding and training for new employees
Organize shift planning and performance evaluation
Lead daily meetings and team coordination activities
Strengthen team discipline, engagement, and productivity
5. Trial production & process support
Participate in trial runs for new production lines and processes
Collaborate with technical teams during industrialization phases
Collect production data and operational feedback
Support process optimization and documentation improvements
Ensure smooth transition from pilot phase to mass production

Profile RequirementsEducation & Background
Master’s degree preferred; outstanding Bachelor’s degree candidates will also be considered
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or related fields
Strong understanding of production systems and industrial operations
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools for data analysis and reporting
Basic knowledge of ERP or MES systems is a plus
Familiarity with basic quality tools (PDCA, 7 QC tools) is an advantage
Experience
Internship or experience in manufacturing, chemical, or pharmaceutical production environments is preferred
Hands-on exposure to production workshops or operational environments is highly valued
Experience in team coordination or operational projects is a plus
