岗位职责
The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Cover global semiconductor supply chain, with a focus on Chinese and US companies, with knowledge about companies in other regions. Looking for investment opportunities from a global perspective
2. Support AM portfolio managers, both onshore and offshore, through actively providing stock ideas; closely interact with onshore semiconductor analysts by providing global semiconductor industry trends and prospectors
3. Conduct in-depth bottom-up fundamental research on companies, build financial models, and write investment reports
4. Present investment ideas to the portfolio managers through regular meetings, presentations and discussions
5. Communicate industry themes and investment ideas with clients and internal sales team
岗位要求
Skills and Abilities
1. Strong background in semiconductor equity research with good understanding of the global supply chain dynamics
2. Good analytical skill with independent and critical thinking
3. Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
4. Passion for excellence and high level of motivation
5. Work well within the team and able to make timely and results-driven investment recommendations
6. Good command in spoken and written Mandarin and English
Qualifications
1. Upright, humble, diligent with high moral values
2. Bachelor degree or above; CFA is considered favorably
3. A minimum of 5 years of fundamental equity research experience on semiconductor industry in either buy or sell side; exceptional candidates with less than 5 years experiences can be considered as well
4. Candidates with global equities experiences will be highly appreciated
