Objective of job
IoT project management is responsible for development of interaction between digital cabin and IoT devices (customer own devices, e.g. child safety seat, aroma diffuser, etc.), defining the strategy and rollout plan for IoT devices with interaction with intelligent cabin, leading cooperation with supplier, driving development process for China market, leading and coordinating the complete lifecycle of function development, aligning and creating transparency among teams and projects, ensure successful product market releases and iteration toward customers
Main tasks include:
Collaborate with different stakeholders, acting as the interface between different projects and providing necessary development project information and technical consultancy for relevant stakeholders
Track industry trend, define and conduct cross functional product strategy/concept for IoT related customer experience
Supplier Management: evaluate local suppliers' development status and engineering capabilities, supporting the purchasing/quality departments in supplier nomination and development, steering supplier development status, identify and manage risks accordingly】
Own the defined product development system and tools and provide the transparency to all stakeholders.
Drive continuously the development of the system and processes, to ensure the high requirement of project mgmt., and efficiency
Coordinating development of the tools and system, if IT or 3rd part shall be involved to develop it.
Act as the interface of RD China, providing support for global plants during the project ramp-up phase, and coordinating global and local resources to analyze and solve system-level malfunctions
Support surrounding processes (demand management, test management, legal evaluation) to cover the complete lifecycle of delivering a “China-fit” product
Education
⦁ Master degree in electrical engineering, software engineering or computer science, or similar major
Experience
⦁ Good knowledge/experience about vehicle hardware/software development project in ADAS and Infotainment
⦁ Good knowledge about product conception, design thinking methodology
⦁ Work experience at OEMs or suppliers for E/E especially especially IoT interaction with digital cabin development is a plus
⦁ At least 3+ years of experience in software development projects
⦁ At least 2+ years of experience in vehicle/components development projects
⦁ Working experience in international company is a plus
⦁ Experience with in-car connectivity is plus
⦁ Experience working in an Agile development environment, Agile/Scrum methodology, experience as scrum master or product owner is plus
Special Knowledge
⦁ Advanced knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management, e.g. project plan, risk analysis, PMP is a plus
⦁ Basic understanding about software development quality methodologies
⦁ Know-how with vehicle EE architecture or SW/HW architecture is an advantage
⦁ Familiar with vehicle development process is an advantage
⦁ Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
⦁ Experience with Jira, and Confluence or similar PM tools
⦁ Willingness to travel inside China and foreign countries
⦁ Self-responsibility, team player with very good communication skills and presentation skills
⦁ Teamwork spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
⦁ Very good English
⦁ German is a plus
