Objective of job
This role serves as the core technical expert for next-generation vehicle EE architecture. You will independently own the end-to-end design, engineering implementation, and mass production delivery of our brand-new Central Computing + Zone Control EEA platform and support iterative upgrades for L4 Robotaxi unmanned architecture. Different from traditional document-only architects, this position requires strong hands-on engineering capabilities to independently complete architecture definition, topology design, resource planning, cross-domain alignment, and mass production problem closure, ensuring the architecture is fully implementable, production-ready, and highly iterative.
Main tasks
1. Next-Generation EEA Top-Level Platform Design
Lead the overall scheme design of the new-generation vehicle EE architecture, covering hardware topology, network topology, power distribution, wiring harness, and SOA architecture;
Build a unified vehicle EEA platform with high scalability, high flexibility, and unmanned driving evolution capability, supporting mass-production passenger vehicles, flagship models, and L4 Robotaxi applications;
Deliver standardized technical outputs including EEA architecture specifications, whitepapers, topology diagrams, system requirements, interface boundary definitions, and platform design guidelines.
2. Full-Stack Hands-On Implementation & Engineering Delivery (Core Requirement)
Independently complete vehicle EEA topology construction, network planning, VLAN partitioning, backbone communication design, power partition strategy, and vehicle wake-up/sleep system definition;
Work with software architecture team for SOA layered architecture design, service boundary division, cross-domain interaction rules, and full-vehicle service catalog establishment;
Analyze system bottlenecks in computing power, network bandwidth, and power consumption, and propose & verify targeted optimization solutions;
Deeply participate in prototype debugging, vehicle integration, and technical problem troubleshooting; independently resolve complex architecture, network, and system-level issues without relying on supplier support.
3. Cross-Domain Requirement Alignment & System Integration
Initiate and align technical requirements with autonomous driving, cockpit, vehicle data platform, AI, OTA, chassis and powertrain teams, unifying full-vehicle standards for computing power, bandwidth, interface, upgrade, and security;
Define hardware deployment boundaries, ECU integration strategies, and reserved independent actuator lists, balancing technical advancement, cost control, and mass production feasibility;
Integrate vehicle data architecture, cybersecurity architecture, and functional safety architecture to form a closed-loop next-generation EEA technical system;
4. Platform-Based & Iterative Architecture System Construction
Build a configurable, tailorable, and iterative EEA platform to support full product coverage including low/high-end trims, multi-power models, and L4 unmanned vehicles with one unified architecture;
Establish unified full-vehicle specifications: SOA protocol, network communication, time synchronization, power-up/sleep management, and layered OTA upgrade standards;
Continuously iterate architecture capabilities to enable smooth upgrade from L2 to L4 autonomous driving, vehicle-cloud data closed-loop, and embodied intelligence evolution;
5. Mass Production Delivery & Technical Governance
Own full-cycle technical governance of the leading vehicle project from architecture freeze, development, integration, trial production to SOP
Manage architecture change control, risk assessment, and cross-domain technical reviews to ensure stable mass production;
Precipitate platform technical assets, design specifications and engineering methodologies to support rapid reuse of subsequent vehicle programs
Qualification
Education
Master’s degree or higher in Computer science, electronic engineering, Automation or similar majors
Experience
5+ years of vehicle EEA architecture experience; proven experience delivering one complete CCU+ZCU platform from zero to mass production SOP;
Proficient technical understanding of vehicle EE architecture, including topology, domain/zone architectures, central computing platforms, and power/grounding design;
Candidates with next-generation EEA experience in premium brands or new energy OEMs, as well as L4 Robotaxi architecture background are highly preferred;
Proven ability to independently drive full-cycle EEA architecture design and delivery, not limited to documentation and review work;
In-depth knowledge of CCU+ZCU architecture, automotive Ethernet/TSN, DDS/SOME/IP, network topology, power distribution system, wiring harness design, and SOA architecture;
Capable of independent evaluation of vehicle computing power, network bandwidth, system load, time sequence logic, and vehicle sleep/wake-up strategy;
Strong on-site problem-solving capabilities to independently troubleshoot vehicle architecture, network and system interaction defects.
Deep understanding of next-generation EEA design philosophy: scalability, flexibility, and unmanned driving adaptability;
Familiar with vehicle functional safety, cybersecurity, OTA upgrade mechanism, and vehicle data platform architecture;
Possess solid thinking in domain boundary division, software-hardware decoupling, and platform reuse;
Excellent cross-department collaboration, communication and project driving capabilities for multi-domain technical alignment;
Logical, pragmatic and result-oriented, focusing on engineering implementation rather than theoretical design;
Team mentoring experience and standard system building experience is preferred.
