Recruiting and sourcing
Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, and direct outreach for engineering, operations, and manufacturing positions
Review applications and conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications against role requirements
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and maintain progress against hiring timelines
Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline data within our applicant tracking system
Draft and publish job postings across job boards, our careers site, and social channels
Interview coordination
Schedule interviews across multiple calendars, time zones, and interview panels
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely communication at each stage of the process
Coordinate onsite interview logistics, including travel arrangements and site visits
Consolidate interview feedback and support the debrief and decision-making process
HR systems and automation
Maintain our HRIS and applicant tracking system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms
Identify manual and repetitive steps within recruiting and HR workflows and develop automated solutions to replace them
Build and maintain automated workflows for offer generation, onboarding checklists, interview scheduling, and status notifications
Develop and maintain recruiting and HR reports and dashboards, automating recurring reporting where feasible
Support system integrations and data synchronization across HR, recruiting, and payroll platforms
Document processes and system configurations to support consistent execution across the team
HR operations and onboarding
Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including documentation, system access, equipment provisioning, and first-week scheduling
Maintain employee records and HR documentation with a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality
Support offer letter preparation, background checks, and pre-employment processes
Assist with immigration and work authorization documentation in coordination with outside counsel
Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
Provide general HR administrative support as the organization grows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple candidates, calendars, and competing priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the professionalism to represent Geek+ to external candidates
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Analytical mindset with an interest in identifying and improving inefficient processes
Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
A proactive approach and consistent follow-through on assigned responsibilities
Willingness to work onsite and travel occasionally for recruiting events
Legally authorized to work in the United States. Geek+ sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates
Recent graduates and candidates with up to two years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or up to two years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or a coordination-intensive role
Experience with an applicant tracking system or HRIS (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, BambooHR, or similar)
Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or comparable sourcing platforms
Exposure to technical or engineering recruiting
Interest in developing knowledge of US employment law and HR compliance
Mandarin and English bilingual proficiency
