If you’re driven by protecting consumers, strengthening trust, and turning regulatory complexity into clear, practical action—this role is for you. You’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring that products manufactured locally or supplied inter-market meet Hong Kong (HK) and Macau regulatory requirements, that claims and communications are accurate and transparent, and that our quality systems are audit-ready and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all the local manufactured and inter-market supplied products are compliant in terms of recipes according to the HK and Macau regulations
Ensure transparent consumer communications as key contributions to maintain trust in the brands and services
Develop a compliance platform by establishing effective procedures
Develop a compliance regulatory risk assessment with advice through training, best practices sharing and communications to ensure full understanding and awareness of compliance obligation
Product Artwork and POSM Approval (Content Hub) for product label, shipping carton, POSM, etc
Hospital Authority tendering and Macau infant nutrition / supplements registration
Regulatory Advocacy:
Follow-up on local and Macau Food Legislation Activities and deal with the NGO activity
Update relevant stakeholder (BU and function head) about News from CFS of HK & Macau government - Food Safety, Regulatory & Compliance
Business Support:
Effective collaboration with cross functional teams, e.g. Bunises Units, Application Groups, Legal and Corporate Affairs, to advance business opportunities
Approve artworks and advertising materials at agreed timeline
Support Commercials by participating in the development of marketing strategies and claims for existing & new products
Ensure all the locally manufactured and inter-market supplied products are compliant in terms of product recipes, labels and promotional practices are compliant to the HK and Macau regulations
Assist individual BU to assess product and launch product successfully in HK and Macau markets e.g. handle customer / authority enquiry / request and review technical information from co-manufacturer or license contractor to ensure complying HK regulation and Nestle policy etc
IMS Product Brief review and approve for import and export products
Crisis Management:
Participate in handling issues and crisis when necessary
Quality Assurance:
Assure with relevant functions to deliver safe and compliant products to market
Lead and maintain an efficient quality system in HK and Macau, e.g. ISO9001, traceability and warehouse assessment
What We're Looking For
Bachelor degree or above, major in food related science or relevant discipline
Min. 4 years' working experience in food industry and familiar with food regulations
With experience of team management and working with cross functional group
Knowledge in Laboratory Operation, Quality Management System, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Warehouse Practices, Good Laboratory Practices
Knowledge in HK & Macau food regulation / EU / Codex / Milk Code standard
