R&D Specialist - Industrialization & Quality

Main Purpose of Job:

Establish and build competence in key technologies/processes/quality/beverage systems industrialization according to project briefs and stage gates in I2L by applying functional knowledge, skills and experience to support product innovation and renovation teams from development to deployment. Support teams in break-through beverage systems and ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, on time launch and within cost limits. Build his/her expertise and apply his/her knowledge in the field to provide relevant scientific/technical guidance in response to business, customers and consumer needs. Ensure the Industrialization of new beverage systems developed at NPTC Coffee or other R&D Sites and produced at Manufacturing locations, while ensuring competitiveness of Nestlé beverage system in the market. Interact proactively with the other functions, especially the machine development and quality competence in NPTC Coffee and Market operations to ensure the overall project objectives.

Position Dimensions：

- Lead and manage the Industrialization of beverage dispenser for In- and Out of Home channels at Manufacturer.

- Accountable for proper validation of key technologies and processes according to specifications, and Project targets.

- Part of Project Team, reporting to Project Manager & Quality manager on the Industrialization, quality and technical Project activities and deliverables.

- Develop engineering expertise in key technologies and development or industrialization processes for beverage systems

- Interact independently with external partners and internal expert to execute the project.

- Deploy industrialization best processes design to improve Quality, cost, efficience for beverage systems manufacturing.

Key Experiences:

- Engineering education (MSc or PHD in mechanics, microtechnics, electronics or others engineering degree)

- 4 to 7 minimum years of R&D work experience in product development and industrialization preferably in mass produced consumer goods/ household appliances

- PM experience in competitive and complex environment

- Manufacturing process and lean manufacturing principle

- Proven communication skills

- Has significant exposure in different project and engineering activities of the organization (variety of assignments and missions)
