Associate R&D Specialist - Electronic

Main Purpose of Job:

Build technical expertise in electronic hardware, firmware, and IoT development for beverage systems. Contribute to concept creation, rapid prototyping, system validation, and the industrialization of electronic solutions across both In‑Home and Out‑of‑Home platforms. Collaborate closely with global R&D teams, manufacturing partners, and external suppliers to ensure system performance, safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

Position Dimensions:

- Support on the development, prototyping, validation, and industrialization of electronics (hardware, firmware, and IoT features) for beverage systems in both In‑Home and Out‑of‑Home channels.

- Collaborate closely with Asia-based electronics manufacturers and design partners to ensure cost‑optimized and manufacturing‑ready designs (DFM).

- Support EMC design pre‑assessment and ensure electronic validation meets Nestlé specifications.

- Support rapid prototyping activities and contribute to the development of early‑stage concepts.

- Perform end‑to‑end system testing including functional, IoT connectivity, firmware stability, and reliability evaluations.

- Contribute to knowledge building in electronics, embedded systems, connected devices, and industrialization processes across global R&D centers.

- Collaborate closely with electronics specialist from other R&D sites.

Key Experiences:

- Engineering education (BSc, MSc or PHD in electronic)

- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in R&D and or Mass Production (EMS electronics Manufacturer Service) in the field of electronics and software for in-home electronic appliances

- Has demonstrated the courage and ability to take decisions and solve problems

- Has global communication skills (Presents confidently and convincingly to engineering experts)

- Has experience in different project management and engineering activities of the organization (variety of assignments and missions)
