In Technical, we are responsible for end-to-end manufacturing to provide reliable and quality products for our customers. In Greater China Region, we operate 26 factories and institutions. Our functions include Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Manufacturing Excellence, Digitalization, Supply Chain Management, Finance and Control, etc. The vision of Nestlé's Technical Team is to win the trust of consumers and business partners through efficient, agile, and high-quality services, becoming an industry benchmark.
As a Technical Management Trainee at Nestlé, you will embark on a structured development journey designed to build future technical and manufacturing leaders. Through rotations across both Head Office and manufacturing sites, you will gain hands-on operational experience, technical expertise, project management capabilities, and a deep understanding of how technology and manufacturing drive business success.
What You Will Do
1. Complete rotations across manufacturing and technical functions, gaining first-hand exposure to manufacturing processes, operational excellence, quality management, and safety standards while developing a strong understanding of frontline operations and the end-to-end production environment.
2. Participate in high-impact technical projects and special assignments, supporting initiatives related to manufacturing excellence, process optimization, digitalization, engineering improvements, and operational performance.
3. Apply data analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and technical expertise to identify improvement opportunities and support business objectives through sustainable and innovative solutions.
4. Take on operational responsibilities within manufacturing sites, contributing to daily operations, project execution, and business performance while building practical leadership capabilities.
5. Demonstrate learning agility, ownership, resilience, and a continuous improvement mindset while strengthening your technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities for future opportunities within Nestlé Operations.
Program Structure
1. Factory Phase (3–6 months)
Gain hands-on experience in factory operations to understand manufacturing processes, quality systems, safety standards, and frontline management practices.
2. Project Phase (6–9 months)
Participate in strategic projects and special assignments under the mentorship of senior leaders, developing expertise in project management, data analytics, continuous improvement, engineering excellence, and manufacturing best practices.
3. Position Phase (12 months)
Take on an independent operational role within a manufacturing site, applying your knowledge in a real business environment while building practical leadership and decision-making capabilities.

Requirements
1. Full-time graduates (2026 or 2027 graduates) with bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Food Science, or related disciplines.
2. Strong analytical thinking, result orientation, and problem-solving capabilities.
3. Demonstrate strong learning agility, resilience, leadership potential, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
6. Willingness to pursue long-term career development at Nestlé and flexibility to work across different cities and locations when required.
