岗位描述

In Technical, we are responsible for end-to-end manufacturing to provide reliable and quality products for our customers. In Greater China Region, we operate 26 factories and institutions. Manufacturing Intelligence connects the factory floor with data and digital technology. Our team works with factories to turn production data into clear insights, smarter decisions and practical improvements. You may explore real food & beverages manufacturing processes, build dashboards and analytical models, support AI use cases, and help scale successful solutions across sites. This is a role for graduates who want to understand how products are made—and use technology to make manufacturing safer, more reliable, more efficient and more sustainable.

As a Technical Management Trainee at Nestlé, you will learn both manufacturing and digital technology through rotations in the head office and factories. You will work on real business challenges with experienced mentors, and your development plan will be tailored and reviewed throughout the journey.

What You Will Do

1. Learn how a factory really works: spend 3–6 months in a factory, get close to production lines and understand how people, machines, materials and systems work together.

2. Turn data into action: collect, clean and analyze manufacturing data; create clear dashboards or simple models that help teams see losses, identify causes and take faster action.

3. Deliver a digital project: join cross-functional projects involving areas such as connected equipment, process automation, digital workflows, AI or predictive analytics—from understanding the problem and testing the solution to supporting user adoption.

4. Connect business and technology: listen to factory users, translate their needs into practical requirements, and work with Engineering, Production, solution partners and IT.

5. Scale what works: document results, share lessons learned and help successful solutions move from one pilot area to more lines or factories.

6. Grow into an independent role: take ownership of a factory or regional assignment during the final phase and prepare for your next position in Manufacturing Intelligence, smart manufacturing or digital operations.

What You Will Gain

1. Rotational experience across Head Office and manufacturing sites.

2. Exposure to one of the world's leading food and beverage manufacturing networks.

3. Hands-on involvement in technical, engineering, and operational excellence projects.

4. Opportunities to work closely with experienced technical leaders and manufacturing experts.

5. A strong foundation for future leadership opportunities in technical, engineering, manufacturing, and operations functions.

Requirements

1. Full-time graduates (2026 or 2027 graduates) with bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics & Applied Mathematics, Statistics, etc.

2. Curious about how factories operate and excited to use data and technology to solve real problems.

3. Comfortable working with data. Experienced with at least one tool such as Power BI, Python, SQL, low-code platforms or industrial automation is a plus.

4. Able to break down a problem, spot patterns and explain your ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.

5. A hands-on team player who is willing to go to the shop floor, ask questions, test ideas and follow through until a solution creates value.

5. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

6. Willingness to pursue long-term career development at Nestlé and flexibility to work across different cities and locations when required.

7. Most importantly: you are eager to learn, comfortable with change and ready to help shape the future of manufacturing.
