REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in AI/ML product design, architecture, or applied research, with a minimum of 3 years in a strategic leadership or Distinguished/Fellow capacity, defining enterprise-level AI product roadmaps and influencing technical direction.
Semiconductor Industry Expertise (Non-negotiable): Profound, proven, and hands-on experience within the semiconductor industry is mandatory.
High-Dimensional AI Product Design Acumen: Demonstrated ability to design complete, socio-technical-economic AI ecosystems, considering not just models but the entire product lifecycle from a value-centric perspective: data provenance, MLOps, explainability, ethical AI, robust deployment, and operational resilience in complex, high-stakes environments.
Architectural & System Design Mastery: Expert-level knowledge and proven track record in designing scalable, highly resilient, and performant AI architectures for production environments. Deep familiarity with distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, edge AI deployment strategies, and crucial hardware-software co-design principles for AI acceleration (e.g., leveraging NPUs, FPGAs, custom ASICs, or specialized AI hardware).
Advanced AI/ML Technical Depth: Comprehensive and current understanding of various AI/ML paradigms (e.g., deep learning, reinforcement learning, causal inference, graph neural networks, generative AI) and their practical application strengths and limitations in industrial settings, particularly within the specific constraints and opportunities of semiconductor manufacturing and design.
Strategic Problem Solving & Visionary Thinking: Exceptional ability to translate ambiguous, complex semiconductor business challenges into clear, innovative AI product solutions and actionable, high-impact technical strategies that achieve substantial business impact.
Executive-Level Communication & Influence: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of influencing C-suite executives, global technical leaders, and diverse cross-functional teams. Ability to articulate complex technical and business-economic concepts with exceptional clarity, authority, and persuasive power to drive consensus and action.
Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field from a top-tier institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Multiple significant published research papers or issued patents in AI/ML applied to fundamental semiconductor design, manufacturing, or testing challenges.
Proven experience in successfully building and scaling multiple AI product lines from "0 to 1" through to successful, sustained production and measurable business impact in a deep-tech industry.
Recognized leadership and active participation in the global AI/ML or semiconductor technical communities, including invited keynotes or distinguished presentations at prestigious international conferences.
Demonstrated expertise in specific, highly critical semiconductor domains such as advanced lithography, metrology control, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), equipment predictive maintenance, operations research models, yield prediction at sub-nanometer nodes, intelligent factory automation, or quantum computing architectures.
Extensive experience mentoring and developing other technical leaders and principal-level engineers to successfully orchestrate and execute complex, cross-functional AI initiatives.
