YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Last Mile Distribution Management (China): Spearhead the management of last-mile transportation for daily distributions from RDCs to customers and service locations across China, ensuring timely, secure, and complete deliveries of both products and after-market service components.

Strategic Last Mile Distribution Management (China): Proactively identify and resolve complex distribution challenges, including coordinating intricate goods and component returns among RDCs, customers, service engineers, forwarders, and Quality, ensuring rapid prioritization and effective resolution.

Strategic Last Mile Distribution Management (China): Champion the implementation and harmonization of transportation-related SOPs and regulations, aligning local practices in global standards to ensure consistent, compliant operations.

Strategic Last Mile Distribution Management (China): Oversee the meticulous management of all relevant documentation, temperature monitoring protocols, and thermometer management systems for transportation, adhering rigorously to established SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Forwarder Relationship Management & Performance Excellence: Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with current and prospective forwarders, ensuring compliance with Bayer's SOPs and regulatory mandates. Conduct rigorous and regular performance reviews to guarantee practical compliance, optimize service levels, and drive the achievement of key performance indicators.

Forwarder Relationship Management & Performance Excellence: Provide supervision of daily forwarder activities, meticulously verifying transportation plans against actual performance reports and scrutinizing shipping documents against established requests/SOPs via the One.View system.

Forwarder Relationship Management & Performance Excellence: Orchestrate seamless transportation coordination between multiple forwarders, ensuring comprehensive last-mile delivery coverage for both products and critical after-market service components.

Global Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Projects / Initiatives: Serve as a liaison between global and local teams on secondary transportation/distribution matters.

Global Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Projects / Initiatives: Collaborate closely with both RDC sites to address transportation-related issues ensuring seamless coordination and efficient problem resolution.

Global Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Projects / Initiatives: Actively participate in global/regional projects, ensuring the seamless implementation of improvements and changes within China.

Global Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Projects / Initiatives: Pioneer the implementation of innovative transportation models maximize cost savings.

Global Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Projects / Initiatives: Serve as a key contributor to the global Helios project, leading strategic sub-projects to support local and global objectives and ensuring the successful local implementation of all optimization initiatives.

Global Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Projects / Initiatives: Lead and actively participate in strategic initiatives contributing expertise and driving successful outcomes.

KPI Driven Performance & Continuous Improvement: Assume responsibility for EOF (End of Forwarding) performance, implementing strategies to control logistics costs through consolidated shipments for the entire China Pharma and Radiology businesses.

KPI Driven Performance & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate closely with Commercial, Market Access, and O2C teams to optimize commercial ordering frequencies, driving significant improvements in C-OTIF (Customer - On Time In Full) performance.

KPI Driven Performance & Continuous Improvement: Manage and optimize KPIs related to goods returns, component returns, and scrapping processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.

After-Market Service Logistics Support: Coordinate the delivery of after-market service components for radiology equipment to service engineers and customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient support for critical service operations.

After-Market Service Logistics Support: Manage the documentation and tracking of service components, maintaining accurate records of inventory and delivery status.

After-Market Service Logistics Support: Collaborate with service teams to resolve any logistics-related issues that may impact the delivery of after-market services.

Audit Management (Last Mile / RDC): Ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the last mile delivery process, acting as a key contributor and point of contact for comprehensive audits of warehouse operations and delivery procedures.

Audit Management (Last Mile / RDC): This role also involves conducting evaluations and compliance checks against industry standards and best practices, collaborating closely with the compliance department as needed.

Reverse Logistics (PH and RAD): Understanding of regulations related to medical devices and pharmaceuticals to ensure compliance throughout the reverse logistics process.

Reverse Logistics (PH and RAD): Effectively manage returns with strong customer service orientation.

Reverse Logistics (PH and RAD): Effective communication with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth return processes.

Reverse Logistics (PH and RAD): Strong problem-solving skills for addressing issues (such as handling damaged goods or ensuring compliance across pharmaceutical and medical device portfolio).

Digital Systems & Analytics: Primary contact for logistics systems, managing business and system related changes as necessary.

Digital Systems & Analytics: Resolving issues with potential impact on operations.

Digital Systems & Analytics: Leverage data analytics to drive insights on logistical projects, enabling informed decision making and enhancing operational efficiency.

WHO YOU ARE

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management / Pharmaceutical related major

Proven more than 5 years experience in operational of SCM

Solid understanding of transportation, forwarder management, commercial operations Knowledge of cold chain is preferred

Good Leadership and communication skills, problem solving ability

Project and Change Management skills

Familiar with SAP

Fluent in English preferable
