Responsibilities

Conduct objective, thorough, and timely investigations into workplace grievances, misconduct, and policy violations

Provide strategic counsel and guidance to senior leadership, HR business partners, and line managers on complex employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions

Develop, review, and implement progressive employee relations policies, guidelines, and programs in compliance with prevailing labor laws and regulatory standards

Analyze employee relations trends and data to identify systemic issues, recommending proactive solutions and preventive measures to mitigate risk.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit, to ensure consistent application of policies and fair resolution of cases and a fair, respectful, and inclusive work environment aligned with DBS values

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field

5 to 8 years of experience in Legal or Human Resources, specializing in employee relations, labor law compliance, and workplace investigations within the financial services sector or a complex corporate environment

Strong knowledge of employment legislation, regulatory frameworks, and best practices in dispute resolution

Proven track record of managing complex, sensitive investigations with high integrity, confidentiality, and objectivity

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable employee relations strategies
