Job Purpose
Responsible for developing and maintaining software and solutions as requested by the department leader, as well as developing Enterprise application integration. Ensure that security is considered throughout the entire software development lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
• Coding, testing and debugging application according to requirements and specifications
• Ability to understand and develop from technical specifications and wireframes
• Developing software prototypes
• Liaise with project manager / end-users to understand and define user requirements and system specifications
• Ability to assist in the construction of technical specification documentation based on Business Document from the Innovation team
• Ability to assist in writing test specification documentation
• A good understanding on how to write code that is well documented, structured and has built in routines for database maintenance as specified by a configuration file (variables should always be employed and not hard coded in the design)
• Documenting software specification and training users
Competencies and Requirements
Experience: Software development experience in C#, .NET or mobile technologies as well as familiarity with SQL databases
Education: Diploma or degree in Information Technology field
Language Ability: Proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
Computer Skills:
• Experience with Microsoft programming technology
• Familiar with Database Programming (MS SQL)
• Good object-oriented programming concepts
• Experience on enterprise scale and team based development environment
• Able to work independently to meet project deadlines
• Adequate English oral and written skills
• Good knowledge of Office Automation tool suite
