岗位描述
This position serves as the Feature System Engineer (FSE) & Technical Program Manager (TPM) for connectivity features, primarily focusing on China AECS (Accident Emergency Call System - GB 45672) and Export eCall (EU 2015/758, EU 2017/79, EU 2025/1871, UAE.S 5019 & SASO 2944). The role acts as the strategic and technical bridge between global teams and China local execution teams. The candidate will lead end-to-end system architecture alignment, Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) deliverables, and strict regulatory homologation timelines by orchestrating cross-functional domains including TCU, RCM, IVI, Audio, Switch, EDS, and PSAP/TPSP/AECSP.
Responsibilities
Regulatory Homologation & System Architecture: Lead the system-level design, requirement decomposition, and homologation delivery for mandatory regulations (GB 45672, GB/T 43187, GB/T 45086.1, GB/T 45314 and other China AECS related normative standards).
Deep understanding of China mandatory regulations, especially GB 45672, GB/T 43187, GB/T 45086.1, and GB/T 45314, with hands-on experience in VTA homologation process.
Technical Program Manager (TPM): Own the feature delivery roadmap, risk matrices, and milestone tracking. Master the art of cross-functional orchestration across TCU/In-house, RCM/Safety, IVI/Supplier, Audio/Interior, Antenna/EMC, and AECSP Cloud IT teams to ensure zero-defect regulatory compliance.
Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) Leadership: Drive system engineering deliverables including Boundary Diagrams, DFMEA, Quality History, and Fault Tree Analysis in collaboration with Global and Local engineering teams.
Global-China Synergy: Act as the primary technical interface/translator between Global Core (e.g., Fennec In-house, eCall Core FO, RCM Core D&R) and China engineering. Effectively translate Global base architectures into China-specific regulatory deltas (e.g., VoLTE, MSD over HTTPS POST).
Vendor & Ecosystem Management: Explore, manage, and coordinate with Tier-1 suppliers, designated AECSP vendor, and authorized homologation testing labs to secure program gateways.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
Extensive experience in developing systems or leading technical projects in the automotive industry, specifically in Telematics, T-Box, or Smart Connectivity domains.
Deep understanding of China mandatory regulations, especially GB 45672, GB/T 43187, GB/T 45086.1, and GB 45314, with hands-on experience in VTA homologation process.
Solid knowledge of Systems Engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., FMA, SysML, Jira).
Knowledge of cellular technology (VoLTE, SIP), Ethernet technology (TCP/IP, HTTP) and automobile E/E architecture (CAN, SOA).
Familiarity with cross-domain sub-systems (RCM/Airbag triggers, Audio DSP, GNSS/Beidou positioning) is highly preferred.
Good understanding of 3GPP and CEN NG-eCall standards will be a strong plus.
Functional Skills
Exceptional project and risk management skills; ability to decompose complex regulatory standards into actionable engineering requirements for sub-module owners.
Solid knowledge of vehicle OEMs’ Product Creation Process (e.g., Ford GPDS) and engineering change control.
Ability to triage system-level issues, analyze cross-boundary root causes, and make definitive technical assignments.
Excellent executive presentation skills; capable of reporting compliance risks and mitigation plans to senior management concisely.
Fluent oral and written English is mandatory for high-frequency Global alignments.
Behavioral Skills
Highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to manage ambiguity in a "Wartime / High-Pressure" regulatory project environment.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and "push-back" skills to align Global platforms with localized regulatory realities.
Ability to operate with agility, balancing strict homologation redlines with engineering feasibility.
