Responsibilities
• Responsible for hardware platform design of In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system to satisfy requirements from various vehicle programs, including IVI hardware architecture design, key components (MCU, SOC, Audio etc.) performance evaluation and selection.
• Maintain IVI hardware specification to capture various engineering parameter, attribute, feature requirements and design updates.
• Conduct regular hardware design review of schematic design, PCB layout, EMC design, thermal design etc. with IVI Tier 1 suppliers, complete engineering deliverables sign off for every milestone.
• Develop test cases for various IVI functionalities, environmental design validation plan, EMC test plan and execution.
• Be flexible with working hours to support communication with Engineering teams located internationally;
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical & Electronics Engineering required;
• 3 years above Work experience in tier 1 supplier of Infotainment or related automotive product is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of infotainment SOC, Audio, amplifier, WIFI and Bluetooth hardware design.
• Familiar with electrical products design and verification process, test planning and execution;
• Good English skills in writing, reading, listening and speaking.
