Position Purpose (Overview of the position)
We are seeking a Vehicle Software Platform Expert to lead the design and implementation of architecture for next-generation vehicle software platforms. This role requires deep expertise across software layers, distributed and centralized computing architectures, and core vehicle software modules. You will drive platform planning, architectural design, and the specification and simulation of software resources to ensure scalability, real-time performance, and cross-domain integration.
Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
• Research and Layering: Analyze automotive software architecture trends (SOA, centralized computing) and translate them into concrete software layers (HAL/OS/middleware/application), module decomposition, and interface definitions.
• Platform Planning: Lead platform-level planning for next-generation vehicle architecture; define layering standards, interface protocols, and integration test specifications to enable software reuse across multiple vehicle models.
• EEA Design: Design vehicle software topologies based on advanced Electrical/Electronic Architecture concepts (domain-centralized and central computing); promote cross-domain synergy (e.g., smart driving, cockpit interaction, vehicle control) and optimize resource allocation.
• Core Module Architecture: Lead the top-level architecture for core software modules (OS, middleware, functional safety software); define functions, interaction logic, and performance indicators.
• Technical Specification & Simulation: Define technical specifications and perform CPU, memory, and bus bandwidth calculations and simulations to ensure stability, real-time performance, and scalability.
• Methodology & Tools: Introduce new software architecture concepts and tools to improve efficiency, quality, standardization, and platform implementation.
