JOB SUMMARY
The Specialist, Commercial reports into the Regional Team and supports above-property commercial priorities through coordination, follow-up, basic analysis, documentation, and execution support across assigned hotels. The role assists the Senior Director, Commercial and regional commercial leadership in preparing materials, tracking actions, and supporting hotel-level implementation. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, willing to learn, able to manage assigned tasks, collaborate with stakeholders, and travel as required based on business needs.
This role works under the guidance of senior commercial leadership and partners with Regional, property, and COE stakeholders to support defined commercial strategies, tools, standards, and programs. The role provides coordination, tracking, documentation, and execution support, while escalating questions, risks, or decisions for guidance as needed.
The role helps coordinate information, prepare materials, support follow-up actions, and assist hotels in understanding key commercial priorities and available resources.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
Bachelor’s degree preferred; diploma or equivalent qualification may be considered with relevant internship or work exposure
Relevant exposure in hospitality, commercial, sales, marketing, revenue management, business analysis, or related fields preferred
Fluent in oral and written communication in Chinese (Mandarin)
Preferred
Internship, placement, project, or work exposure supporting commercial, sales, marketing, revenue management, hotel operations, business analysis, or related activities.
Good analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Commercial Support
Supports the Senior Director, Commercial and regional commercial leadership in tracking commercial priorities, following up on assigned actions, and maintaining relevant materials and trackers.
Assists with commercial performance reviews by compiling data, preparing basic analysis, consolidating observations, and supporting follow-up on selected focus areas.
Coordinates with Regional, property, and COE stakeholders to support the rollout of approved commercial tools, standards, materials, and programs.
Supports business planning, campaign coordination, market reviews, meeting preparation, reporting, and performance follow-up.
Identifies questions, data gaps, follow-up needs, or potential risks and escalates them for review and guidance as needed.
