Position Title: Manager/Senior Manager, RWA

Title and scope will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and seniority.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced financial-markets professional to join the HashKey RWA team and contribute to the development and execution of RWA products and business initiatives.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in funds, equities or other securities products, together with a solid understanding of relevant product structures, market participants and end-to-end product lifecycles.

The successful candidate should also understand how tokenisation can enhance traditional financial products and related business processes. Prior tokenisation experience is advantageous but not required, provided the candidate demonstrates strong interest and the ability to assess practical applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. RWA / Tokenisation Product & Solution Design

Assess assets and client needs across funds, equities, fixed income, structured products and other securities products, and develop executable RWA / tokenisation solutions.

Design and optimise product and tokenisation structures based on underlying products, target investors, regulatory requirements, trading and settlement arrangements, operating processes and product economics.

Assess the practical application of tokenisation across issuance, registration, subscription and redemption, transfers, settlement and lifecycle management.

Design Registrar, Transfer Agency and other relevant service models where appropriate.

Lead product assessments, due diligence and internal analysis to ensure proposed solutions are commercially, regulatorily and operationally viable.

Refine product frameworks and reusable solutions based on market feedback, regulatory developments and project experience.

2. Project Execution & Business Ownership

Independently own or lead RWA / tokenisation projects from solution confirmation through implementation.

Develop implementation plans, manage key milestones and dependencies, and drive resolution of material issues.

Engage with clients, regulators, asset managers, issuers, banks, securities firms and other relevant stakeholders as required.

Coordinate internal business, operations, technology, legal, compliance, risk and other relevant teams to translate agreed solutions into executable arrangements.

Guide team members through documentation, internal approvals and implementation, and take accountability for overall progress, quality and outcomes.

3. New Business & Capability Development

Explore new product types, securities businesses, service capabilities and business models in line with HashKey RWA’s development priorities.

Monitor developments across traditional capital markets, RWA, tokenised securities and digital-asset markets and identify commercially relevant opportunities.

Assess the commercial value, regulatory feasibility, operating requirements and resource implications of new business opportunities.

Where relevant, contribute to the development of new capabilities such as margin financing / securities financing and other related securities businesses.

Support validated opportunities from concept through business implementation and help establish scalable product and operating capabilities.

Qualifications

Approximately 5–10 years or more of relevant experience, with title and scope adjusted based on experience and seniority.

Strong hands-on experience with funds, equities or other related securities products is required.

Solid understanding of relevant product mechanics, market participants, trading and settlement arrangements, and end-to-end business processes.

Relevant backgrounds may include asset management, fund products, equities and other securities products, Transfer Agency / Registrar, fund administration, securities brokerage or other closely related financial businesses.

Demonstrated experience independently owning complex products, business initiatives or project workstreams.

Experience in Hong Kong financial markets or regulated financial institutions is preferred.

Additional Experience

The following is not mandatory but would be advantageous:

hands-on experience with tokenised funds, tokenised equities, tokenised securities or other RWA projects;

Hong Kong Type 1 and/or Type 4 regulated-business experience, including previous or current experience as an SFC Responsible Officer (RO);

supervisory or team-management experience;

margin financing / securities financing experience;

experience building new products, processes or business capabilities.
