Our client is a well-established logistics company seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, corporate governance, and business growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with the company owner and senior management team, providing strategic financial insights, investment advice, and supporting long-term business development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead overall financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis

Provide strategic financial advice to the company owner and senior management on business decisions and investment opportunities

Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and business expansion opportunities through financial analysis and due diligence

Oversee financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and corporate governance practices

Manage relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and external professional advisors

Drive improvements in financial processes, risk management, and operational efficiency

Support corporate restructuring, fundraising, and strategic projects when required

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and listed company governance practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines

Minimum 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles, with proven experience as CFO, Financial Controller, Finance Director, or equivalent

Experience working in a listed company environment is highly preferred

Candidates with Company Secretary, Financial Controller, or corporate governance experience are highly desirable

Strong background in financial reporting, corporate finance, and strategic planning

Proven experience in investment analysis, business evaluation, or M&A-related activities

Strong commercial mindset with the ability to provide strategic recommendations to business owners

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Listed companies or organisations with complex corporate structures

Experience working closely with shareholders, investors, and senior executives
