About the Role

A leading manufacturer is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to drive digital transformation initiatives and oversee enterprise application development across their business operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing end-to-end system projects, enhancing business processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and support.

Partner with business users to analyze operational needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.

Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.

Oversee system development quality, architecture standards, and best practice governance.

Drive ERP and EDI-related initiatives, including EDI mapping, process integration, IDOC management, and system connectivity with trading partners.

Coordinate with internal development teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders across multiple locations.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and end-user training materials.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Support digitalization initiatives and continuous process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years leading application development or digital transformation projects.

Hands-on knowledge of enterprise applications and development technologies, including:

ERP systems (Navision, Epicor preferred)

SQL Database

VB.NET, C#, Java

Web and mobile application development

Experience with EDI integration, workflow automation, and business process optimization.

Familiarity with manufacturing operations, production workflows, MES, or OA systems is highly advantageous.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders while ensuring delivery quality and timelines.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience leading geographically dispersed or remote teams is preferred.

Willingness to travel to Mainland China as required.
