The Role
A well-established financial services firm is looking for a Dealer – Structured Products to join its dealing team in Hong Kong.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing OTC and investment product orders, supporting daily dealing operations and ensuring trades are handled accurately and efficiently.
This role is suitable for a junior financial markets professional who is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced dealing environment and interested in developing further within structured products and securities trading.
Key Responsibilities
Execute client and internal orders for OTC products, including structured products, bonds, OTC options, mutual funds and other investment products.
Ensure all trade orders are executed in a timely, accurate and compliant manner.
Handle daily dealing operations and related trade processing activities.
Respond to enquiries regarding trades, orders, execution status and product-related matters.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth trade execution, settlement and operational processing.
Liaise with external counterparties and relevant service providers when required.
Monitor outstanding orders and follow up on trade-related matters.
Maintain accurate transaction records and support relevant reporting requirements.
Work closely with IT and other internal teams on system enhancement, automation or dealing-related projects.
Support ad-hoc operational and trading projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
University graduate in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
Minimum 1 year of experience within the financial services industry.
Experience or exposure to any of the following products would be highly preferred:
Structured Products
Bonds / Fixed Income
OTC Options
Mutual Funds
Securities / Investment Products
Holder of relevant SFC RA1 / RA2 licence, or candidates who have passed HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7, 8 and/or 9, would be an advantage.
Good understanding of trade execution and dealing operations would be preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of VBA, automation or data processing tools would be an advantage.
Comfortable using digital and AI productivity tools to improve work efficiency would be a plus.
Detail-minded with a strong sense of accuracy and responsibility.
Good team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
Willing to work on Hong Kong public holidays when business or market coverage requires.
Candidates who are immediately available or available within short notice would be preferred.
