Our client is an MNC within the hospitality and services sector. Known for its collaborative, people-centric culture, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, they are hiring an additional Assistant HR Manager to join as part of the People & Culture team.
About The Role
Reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager, the Assistant HR Manager will serve as a key HR business partner, supporting the full spectrum of HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on and highly visible role that combines strategic HR partnering with operational HR responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Partner with business leaders and managers on day-to-day people matters and HR initiatives
Manage end-to-end talent acquisition activities and recruitment projects as required
Drive employee engagement initiatives, including CSR, wellness, and culture-building activities
Support performance management, talent development, succession planning, and employee relations matters
Maintain and enhance HRIS data and processes, with a focus on Workday administration and system optimization
Oversee HR operations and ensure smooth execution of BAU HR processes
Provide HR policy guidance and ensure compliance with relevant employment regulations
Assist in implementing regional and global HR programs and initiatives
Collaborate closely with overseas HR colleagues and stakeholders on cross-functional projects
Please note that payroll processing is managed separately and is not part of this role's core responsibilities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
8-12+ years of HR experience, ideally gained within hospitality, services, customer-focused, or related industries
Well-rounded HR generalist or HRBP background covering recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, and business partnering
Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Customer-service-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering excellent employee experiences
Agile, proactive, and adaptable approach to work
Positive attitude, strong ownership, and commitment to achieving results
Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese, with the ability to liaise effectively with overseas stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
