About the company
Our client is a well-known insurance firm in Hong Kong. Due to their recent expansion, they are now looking for candidate for a Head of MCV Agency Development & Strategy position.
About the role
Reporting to Chief Agency Officer, you will lead a team to design and execute long-term growth, productivity, and capability-building plans for MCV agency network. In this high-impact leadership role, you will analyze market and agency performance metrics, refine operating models, oversee office operations and cost optimization, and enforce robust governance for agency programs and campaigns. Serving as a key liaison between agency leadership and cross-functional teams-including Product, Marketing, Risk, HR, and IT-you will drive digital adoption, streamline front-line agent workflows, and lead cross-departmental projects. Additionally, you will manage, coach, and aligning team resources to deliver strategic priorities while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture in company agency network.
The successful applicant
To qualify, the successful individual must possess:
Degree holder in Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience of minimum 10 years in agency development and business planning for sizeable insurance firms with at least 3-4 years in a managerial capacity.
Extensive expertise in MCV agency operations, agency recruitment and sales management is highly preferred.
Strategic mind-set with in-depth understanding of agency distribution is a must.
Proven ability to elevate key performance metrics and P&L in managing a sizeable agency team is a must.
Strong business sense, good analytical mind and influencing skills.
Native Mandarin background required with proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
