About The Client
Our client is a leading Hong Kong property business with a sizeable, diverse workforce across frontline operations, casual staff and corporate functions. The organisation is seeking a senior, commercially minded HR leader to partner closely with management and provide practical people solutions in a fast-paced operational environment.
About The Role
Reporting to Deputy HR Director, you will lead the HR Business Partnering agenda for designated business units, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on workforce, employee relations and organisational matters.
Partner with business leaders on manpower planning, organisational design, performance, engagement and retention.
Provide sound, pragmatic advice on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, grievances, attendance and performance issues.
Support managers in handling a high-volume frontline and casual-worker population, alongside office-based employees.
Lead, coach and supervise HR team members to ensure responsive and consistent HR service delivery.
Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition activities, working with hiring managers on workforce requirements and senior-to-frontline hiring.
Drive HR policies, processes and people initiatives that improve business effectiveness, employee experience and compliance.
Influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively where appropriate and translate commercial needs into workable people solutions.
Requirements
Degree-qualified with 20+ years' progressive HR experience, ideally including senior HRBP or HR leadership responsibilities.
Solid team leadership and supervisory experience within a sizeable, structured organisation.
Strong track record in advising senior stakeholders and influencing management decisions across complex people matters.
Extensive hands-on exposure to employee relations within a frontline, operational and/or casual-worker environment.
Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment legislation and practical experience managing sensitive staff cases.
Property, real estate, facilities management, hospitality, retail, logistics or other labour-intensive industry experience is preferred.
Candidates from sizeable listed corporations in Hong Kong with a diverse employee population will also be considered.
A credible, commercially astute and solutions-driven HR professional with strong communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is advantageous.
