About The Client
Our client is a growing technology company with a strong digital product focus and expanding global presence. They are seeking a commercially minded Legal Advisor to support product, commercial and cross-border legal matters, partnering closely with business stakeholders to deliver practical legal solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About The Role
This is a commercially focused Product Legal Advisor position supporting the development, launch and ongoing operation of digital products across international markets.
Responsibilities include:
Providing pragmatic legal advice to product, business and operational stakeholders on a broad range of day-to-day matters.
Partnering with product teams throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development through to launch and enhancement.
Advising on legal and regulatory considerations relating to new products, features and market expansion initiatives.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including technology, vendor, partnership and service contracts.
Supporting regulatory assessments and coordinating with relevant authorities, industry bodies and external advisers where required.
Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and translating complex requirements into practical business solutions.
Managing external counsel and supporting cross-border legal projects.
Assisting with dispute resolution, intellectual property matters and internal investigations when required.
Requirements
Legal experience gained in private practice, an in-house legal team, or a combination of both.
Strong common law training and legal foundation is essential.
Experience supporting technology, software, internet, digital platform or e-commerce businesses would be highly advantageous.
Exposure to product counselling, commercial contracts and cross-border legal matters is preferred.
Able to provide practical, business-oriented advice rather than purely technical legal opinions.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
Energetic, adaptable and commercially savvy, with the confidence to operate in a fast-moving environment.
Fluent English and Mandarin required.
Must hold valid Hong Kong work authorization.
