Investment Associate, Real Estate, 40-80k
An asset manager is seeking an investment professional to join its Hong Kong investment team, focusing on private real estate opportunities.
Responsibilities
Evaluate potential investments through financial analysis, valuation, modelling, market research and due diligence;
Prepare underwriting models covering cash flow, financing, investment returns and exit scenarios;
Develop investment papers, presentation materials and recommendations for internal approval;
Coordinate with advisers and internal teams on transaction structuring, due diligence and execution;
Attend site inspections and engage with brokers, lenders, operating partners and other market participants;
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Real Estate or a related discipline;
3-8 years' experience in buy side / investment banking;
Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capability;
Knowledge of real estate investment and the Japan market is advantageous;
Fluent written and spoken English;
Independent, commercially minded and able to travel regularly from Hong Kong;
