Overview
Our client is seeking a service-oriented and technically capable Services Delivery Manager (DC) to oversee connectivity provisioning, testing, technical escalation and ongoing customer service after project handover. This role is ideal for a data-centre, telecom or connectivity-operations professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex service issues, leading a small technical team and operating in a 24/7 critical-service environment.
Key responsibilities
Manage the post-project service lifecycle for customer connectivity and physical-connectivity services.
Coordinate or conduct service provisioning, validation, testing and service activation activities.
Act as a second-level technical escalation point for connectivity incidents and complex service issues.
Diagnose technical faults, identify root causes, coordinate remediation and ensure timely service restoration.
Work closely with first-line operations, engineering teams, site teams and customers to manage incidents and communications.
Lead and develop a small engineering team, ensuring consistent service quality and technical capability.
Maintain service documentation, incident records, testing results and operational procedures.
Support a 24/7 critical-infrastructure environment, including on-site support when operationally required.
Requirements
Degree or diploma holder in Telecommunications, Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Solid experience in data-centre connectivity, telecom infrastructure, fibre/cabling services, network operations or technical service delivery.
Hands-on knowledge of connectivity provisioning, testing, troubleshooting and incident escalation.
Experience working in a ticketing, SLA-driven or 24/7 service environment.
Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex technical or physical-layer connectivity issues.
Experience supervising or leading a small technical/engineering team is preferred.
Data-centre, telecom carrier, network-service provider or critical-infrastructure background will be an advantage.
Good command of English and Chinese.
