About The Client
Our client is a well-established, internationally recognized retail group with an extensive network of stores across Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China. As part of continued business expansion, they are looking to hire an Assistant Leasing Manager to strengthen their leasing and property team
About the role
Handle new lease negotiations, lease renewals, and rent reviews for retail store locations across Hong Kong and/or Macau
Manage store relocation projects, including site identification, feasibility assessment, and negotiation of terms
Liaise with landlords, leasing agents, and property management companies to secure competitive rental terms
Conduct market research and site analysis to identify new business opportunities and expansion locations
Prepare leasing proposals, financial appraisals, and business cases for management approval
Coordinate with internal departments (legal, finance, store operations, design and construction) to ensure smooth handover of new or renewed stores
Monitor market trends, competitor store openings, and rental benchmarks in key retail districts
Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, renewal timelines, and key commercial terms
The successful applicants
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Surveying, or related discipline
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in retail leasing, tenant-side business development, or commercial real estate
Prior experience in a retail chain, F&B group, or similar multi-store operator is highly preferred
Strong negotiation skills with a solid understanding of retail leasing structures and market rents
Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and financial appraisal skills
Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
