About our Client
Our client is a well-established property owner with a substantial commercial property portfolio in Hong Kong. To support ongoing asset enhancement initiatives and capital improvement programs, they are looking for a Project Manager to oversee Alteration & Addition (A&A), refurbishment, renovation, and fit-out projects across their commercial assets.
About the Role
Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for commercial property A&A works, renovations, refurbishments, and asset enhancement projects.
Develop project strategies, budgets, timelines, procurement plans, and execution schedules.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, tenants, consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and government authorities.
Monitor project progress, quality, costs, risks, and compliance to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline.
Review design proposals, technical submissions, tender documents, and contractor quotations.
Manage consultant and contractor performance, including contract administration and variation control.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, building regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure work quality and safety standards are maintained.
Support asset enhancement initiatives aimed at improving building performance, tenant experience, and investment returns.
The successful applicants
Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Building Services Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 8-15 years of relevant project management experience in commercial property, property development, consultancy, or client-side project delivery.
Proven track record managing A&A, renovation, refurbishment, fit-out, or capital improvement projects for commercial buildings.
Strong knowledge of Hong Kong building regulations, statutory approvals, and construction practices.
Experience managing consultants, contractors, tendering processes, and project budgets.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin preferred).
