About The Client
Our client is a blue-chip property developer renowned for its iconic commercial and retail portfolios across Hong Kong and Mainland China. Recognized for driving innovation and urban lifestyle trends, they are seeking an Assistant Leasing Manager to join their retail leasing team.
About the role
Trade Mix Strategy: Assist in formulating and executing a comprehensive retail trade mix revamp plan
New Leasing & Renewals: Manage end-to-end leasing activities for new lettings, lease renewals, and relocations; negotiate commercial terms
Market Research & Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth retail market research
Tenant Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective tenants, retail brands, agents, and business partners
Tenancy Administration: Prepare and manage leasing documentation including heads of terms, tenancy agreements, and licence agreements
Budget & Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual leasing budgets, rental forecasts, and performance reports
The successful applicants
Degree holder in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-7 years of solid experience in retail leasing, ideally gained from major property developers.
Proven success in handling high-traffic shopping malls. Experience in Chinese tenant connections, mall repositioning, asset enhancement initiatives (AEI), or trade-mix revamp projects is highly advantageous.
Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a strong commercial mindset.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
