Major Responsibilities and Objectives:
Prepare valuations, financial analysis and business cases
Preview project performance, budgets and forecasts
Support and manage land lease extension applications and related stakeholder coordination
Evaluate potential acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and development opportunities
Support due diligence, transaction execution and internal approval processes
Coordinate with legal, finance, tax, project and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle
Conduct market research and benchmarking, and monitor relevant market, policy and regulatory developments in Chinese Mainland
Coordinate with cross-functional teams on project and portfolio analysis
Monitor approvals from the relevant cultural relics authorities for construction and development projects, and prepare progress reports to support management follow-up
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, Surveying or related field
Professional qualifications such as CFA / CPA would be an advantage, but not mandatory.
6–10 years of relevant real estate / investment experience
Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
Experience in budgeting, market research and investment case preparation
Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, English and Chinese communication skills
Mature, commercially minded and able to work across teams
Willingness to travel within Chinese Mainland as required
