Major Responsibilities and Objectives:

Lead and implement large-scale property development projects

Provide cost information on project related matter to support critical design and construction decisions

Supervise the execution of C&C related activities in accordance with the corporate’s policies, approved budget,

programme and other required standards

Major Tasks & Activities:

Budget preparation , control and monitoring

Advise contract planning & works packages arrangement

Cost Planning / annual budget review

Develop cost control procedure/variation contract procedure/payment procedure

Prepare budget for main contract, direct contracts and sub-contracts

Supervise and ensure company's procurement /tender and cost control procedures are implemented.

Monthly financial up-date based on cost monitoring platform

Supporting PMs on cost,contract matter and final account

Liaise with PMs to prepare award of contracts (Reports/Ex-com/Board Circulars)

To assist project team in the implementation of company's sustainability development vision in site safety initiatives.

Any other duties assigned by the Line Manager

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

Provide cost information and monitoring financial situation of all assigned projects

Support project team staff (including site team).

Close monitoring of the external consultant team of 20-30, contractor plus other parties associated with the project.

Degree in Architecture, Building Engineering,Quantity Surveying or related discipline with approprirate professional qualificatio

Registered Surveyor, RICS or equivalent preferable

Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills

Excellent understanding of the whole property development process in Chinese Mainland.

Minimum of +15 years experience as a Quantity

Surveyor or Contract Manager, managing large-scale property developments

Competence in IT based management software

Conversant with design, local regulations and project management using modern projects control software

High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
